Adobong Baboy Recipe

Ingredients

2 lbs pork belly

1 onion

1 head garlic

2 bay leaves

1 tsp salt

½ tsp pepper

1 tbsp oil

1 cup vinegar

½ cup soy sauce

1 cup water

Procedure

Pork, onions, garlic, bay leaves, salt, and pepper should all be combined in a basin. Put in the fridge to marinate for approximately half an hour.

Heat the oil in a large, heavy-based skillet over medium heat. Add the meat mixture and cook until the pork is gently browned, flipping it over regularly.

Pour in the vinegar and cook, covered, without stirring, for three to five minutes.

Stir together the water and soy sauce. Boil for a further three to five minutes.

Once the beef is fork-tender and the sauce has reduced, lower the heat, cover, and simmer for 40 to 50 minutes.

To taste, add salt and pepper for seasoning. Warm up the food.
