Ingredients
- 1 kilo short ribs, bone-in
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- freshly ground blackpepper
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp black peppercorn
- 3 large bay leaves
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 2 1/2 tsp brown sugar
- salt
Procedure
- Season the short ribs with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Sear for 15 minutes, then set aside.
- Saute garlic and onion then add the short ribs.
- Add the following ingredients: soy sauce, pepper cord, sugar, and bay leaves. Mix well.
- Add the vinegar but do not mix. Stir only when it starts to boil.
- Add water and simmer until the meat is tinder.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve and Enjoy!
