Ingredients
- 1 piece ampalaya
- 250 grams of beef, sliced thinly
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 piece onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure
- Clean the ampalayan and then cut it into thin pieces.
- On a mixing bowl, mix ampalaya and salt. Set aside for 5 minutes.
- Wash the ampalaya to remove the salt and set aside.
- Marinate the beef in soy sauce, oyster sauce brown sugar and cornstarch. Mix well and add ground black pepper. Marinate for 3 hours.
- In a pan, saute garlic and onion.
- Add the marinated beef. Stir fry for a few minutes.
- Add water and simmer until sauce thickens.
- Add the ampalya and stir fry until the vegetable is cooked.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot!
